    Karen Pickering received her RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) certificate in 1990 and her CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) in 1994. She is proficient in ICD-9 and CPT coding and has been certified as an ICD-10 trainer through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Ms. Pickering is a 30 year veteran and expert in coding, auditing, and mentoring to healthcare facilities and Health Information Management professionals.
